Ticket payments are handled using one of our payment processing partners, either PayPal or Stripe. EventNut doesn’t handle the financial side of your ticketing transactions.
If you use PayPal for payment processing, attendees can purchase tickets using either a major credit card or their own PayPal account. If you use Stripe for payment processing, attendees can purchase tickets using a major credit card only.
Ticket revenue and reimbursed fees (if you opt to pass fees onto your attendees) will be deposited to your bank account by your chosen credit card processor (PayPal or Stripe) within two business days. Please note: the first transfer you receive may take up to 7 days.
Yes, but they’re not a fee you’d receive from EventNut. Credit card processing fees will come to you directly from whichever payment processing provider you decide to use, either PayPal or Stripe.
For credit card purchases, Stripe and PayPal charge identical credit card processing fees: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. When you use EventNut, you can choose to pay these fees yourself, or you can pass them on to your attendees.
Yes. Just like with our ticketing fees, you can choose to pass through credit card processing fees when you set up your tickets and payment processing. It’s easy.
One small note, though: if you choose to pass your fees on to your attendees, the fees will be charged initially to your credit card on file. You will then be reimbursed by the credit card processor you’re using (Stripe or PayPal) when the attendee is charged.
